Delberta Phillips
age 46, 1785 Oxford Ave., Sparks, died Tuesday in a
Reno hospital.Born August 13, 1926 in Wadsworth to Delbert
and Celeste Albee, she spent her entire life in Nevada.
Surviving are her husband, Silas Phillips, of Sparks, Sons Terry
Phillips, of Sun Valley, Brian Phillips, of Sparks, daughter Connie
Lee of Sun Valley, mother Celeste Albee, of Reno, sisters Barbara
Moss, Rosalie Almond,and Jeanette Rodrigue of Sparks, Shirley Oar
of Reno, and Sister Dorothy of Los Angeles, and brothers Sidney
Albee, Sparks, and Bill Albee, Portola, Ca.The rosary will be
Thursday  at 8:30 p.m. at the Walton Funeral Home. Requiem Mass
will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church in Sparks. Burial will be in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery,
Reno.

Caused the Death of Richard Phillips --
Funeral Services at Hebron Church.

Richard Sylvester Phillips died athis home in Monroe township
last Friday night after an illness of ten days of pnuemonia.
    He was the son of John and Leah Ferrell Phillips and was born
in Roane County, WVa., on the 8th day of July 1866.
     He was united in marriage to Cora Cadle and to this union the following
children survive; Opie, Everett, Otho,Ethel, Gladys, and Silas.  
Besides his wife and children, he is survived by one brother Silas Phillips
of Dunbar, W Va, and one sister, Mrs. Fannie Taylor, Walton, WVa.
    The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Hebron M.
E. Church, conducted by Rev. W.W. Trout. Interment in the Hebron Cemetery

MOTHER CALLED HOME
Mrs. James McPartland died at her home six miles north of town
Tuesday afternoon, after an illness of about two months.She was first
taken ill with rhumatism and later complications set in that proved fatal.
The deceased leaves a husband and seven children - four boys and three girls
to mourn her loss.  She was a loving wife and mother a good neighbor, and a
lady loved andrespected by all.  Her death will cause a vacancynot only in
the home but in the entire community and the bereaved relatives have the heart
felt sympathy of all.  The children were all at home. Miss Mary having been called  
from Redfield where she has been teaching school. They are Misses Mary,
Nellie and Celesta and Messrs. Joe, Bernard, Victor and Robert.
